Olina Lialina is an internet artist, and she is from Russia. Her idea is to use elements from pre-existing internet art and she combined it with the sensibilities of Russian avant-garde films. In addition, Lialina's project "My Boyfriend Came Back From the War" was made when the web supported very simple graphics and texts.
